Wofford students spend summer consulting for area businesses
2014 Jul 16Seventeen Wofford students are participating in The Institute, a program created by the college in 2009 to help students learn professional skills such as networking, public speaking and consulting before graduation to help them better compete for jobs. The Institute runs from July 7 through August 1. The students will manage consulting projects for four businesses: MUSC, Dave Edwards Toyota, Fight Card and Treefalls. In preparation for their projects, Institute students learn the basic skills needed to function in a professional environment.
