Brandon Robinson receives award during Honors Day ceremonies at Wofford College

Wofford College senior Brandon Michael Robinson was recognized on May 3 during Honors Day ceremonies when he received the Harold w. Green Award, the departmental award for accounting.

Robinson, a Dean's List student, is majoring in accounting. He is the recipient of the Watson-Brown Scholarship and the Francis C. Hipp Scholarship. Robinson also is a member of the Student Alumni Association; the Finance, Accounting and Business Club; and Twin Towers service organization. Robinson has plans to enroll in graduate school at Clemson University.

The late Harold W. Green was a professor of economics and accounting from 1965 to 1986 and chaired the accounting department.

The academic major awards are made by the faculty to seniors recommended by the major departments on the basis of academic achievement, character and intellectual promise. Some of the awards are named in honor of persons who have made significant contributions to the intellectual life of the college.
