Brian Novak McCracken receives award during Honors Day ceremonies at Wofford College

Wofford College senior Brian Novak McCracken was recognized on April 30 during Honors Day ceremonies when he received the the Heart of a Terrier Leadership Award.

McCracken is majoring in economics and government with a concentration in world politics and a minor in religion. He has served as chair of the Judicial Commission and senior class secretary. He also is a member of the varsity track and field team. McCracken was awarded the Marvin Holloway Scholarship, was a national finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship competition, and was selected as a Presidential Global Studies Scholar. He plans to pursue a career as an international law attorney.

The Heart of a Terrier Leadership Award recognizes students who have made a positive difference on the campus and excelled in scholarship, leadership and campus citizenship and service.
