Brittany Flemming Honored at Wofford College Greek Awards Program

Brittany Flemming received the Panhellenic New Member of the Year Award during the Wofford College Greek Awards Program held on March 20, 2012. The New Member of the Year Award goes to a student that has been a strong asset to her sorority. Flemming has embraced the values of her sorority as well as Greek life by being an active cheerleader for the football and basketball teams, by being actively involved with raising money for breast cancer awareness, and by overcoming racial stereotypes of Greek women at Wofford.

Flemming, a member of the class of 2015, is the daughter of McArthur and Sandra Flemming of Columbia, SC 29209.

Wofford College, established in 1854, is an independent liberal arts college of 1,550 students in Spartanburg, S.C. Wofford ranks 2nd nationally in the percentage of undergraduates receiving credit for study abroad. Home to one of the nation's 280 Phi Beta Kappa chapters, Wofford's historic 170-acre campus is recognized as a national arboretum. Wofford is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
