Brittnee LeAnne Hill receives award during Honors Day ceremonies at Wofford College

Wofford College senior Brittnee LeAnne Hill was recognized on May 7 during Honors Day ceremonies when she received the the Coleman B. Waller Award, the departmental award for chemistry. Hill is majoring in chemistry and mathematics. Coleman B. Waller served as professor of chemistry from 1904 until 1947, and also taught biology.

The academic major awards are made by the faculty to seniors recommended by the major departments on the basis of academic achievement, character and intellectual promise. Some of the awards are named in honor of persons who have made significant contributions to the intellectual life of the college.
