Emiley Frances Pagrabs receives award during Honors Day ceremonies at Wofford College

Wofford College senior Emiley Frances Pagrabs was recognized on May 3 during Honors Day ceremonies when she received the the David Duncan Wallace Award, the departmental award for history. Pagrabs is majoring in French, history and government with a concentration in world politics. David Duncan Wallace, professor of history and department chair from 1899 to 1947, was a prolific author and the foremost South Carolina historian of his day..

The academic major awards are made by the faculty to seniors recommended by the major departments on the basis of academic achievement, character and intellectual promise.
