Garrett Heath participates in Wofford College's Presidential Seminar 2016

Garrett Franklin Heath has been chosen to participate in Wofford's Presidential Seminar 2017. Heath is a member of the class of 2017. He is majoring in environmental studies with a minor in philosophy.

The Wofford Presidential Seminar is a capstone experience with graduating seniors distinguished for their academic achievement and their contributions to the college community. Participants are selected by their departments and become part of a mini-seminar on contemporary topics of the day. The seminar meets on several afternoons throughout the semester for discussions of assigned readings that draw on themes in politics, economics, culture, science and technology, and other related fields. Each student submits a final essay exploring the opportunities for progress immanent within a contemporary tension or dilemma.
