Helen Lawton Birdsong awarded scholarship to attend Wofford College

Helen Lawton Birdsong of Columbia, S.C., has been awarded a Benjamin Wofford Scholarship to attend Wofford College. Birdsong is a member of the class of 2017.

The Benjamin Wofford Scholarships are named in memory of the founder of the college. These scholarships are awarded annually to students nominated by their high schools and selected by Wofford College as possessing outstanding qualities of scholarship.
