Henry Cornelson receives award during Honors Convocation at Wofford College on Tuesday, May 8

Wofford College senior Henry Cornelson received the Heart of the Terrier Leadership Award and Senior Order of Gnomes. The "Heart of a Terrier" leadership award recognize those students who have made a positive difference on campus and excelled in scholarship, leadership and campus citizenship and service. Cornelson is majoring in business economics and Spanish with a minor in accounting.

The academic major awards are made by the faculty to seniors recommended by the major departments on the basis of academic achievement, character and intellectual promise. Some of the awards are named in honor of persons who have made significant contributions to the intellectual life of the college.
