Joshua Adams interns with Ways and Means Committee in the South Carolina House of Representatives

Joshua Adams, a member of the Wofford College class of 2020, interned with the Ways and Means Committee in the South Carolina House of Representatives during Interim in January 2017. While working, he participated in meetings held by the Ways and Means Committee, the Joint Bond Review Committee and the State Fiscal Accountability Authority, all while conducting research applicable to the urgent issues at hand with the state's budget. Adams is considering a career in public service and chose this internship because he wanted to explore both the roles of elected officials and civil servants within state government.
