Wofford College student Peter Elbaum is studying abroad during the fall of 2012 in Getafe, Spain.

Elbaum is a member of the class of 2014 and the child of Mark and Catherine Elbaum, Murfreesboro, Tenn. (37129).

Study abroad is a major component of Wofford's commitment to shaping globally connected citizens. Opportunities range from travel/study Interim projects to a full-year at a university abroad. Students may choose from more than 200 programs and 59 countries. Co-curricular opportunities include service-learning, internships and cultural excursions.

Wofford College, established in 1854, is an independent liberal arts college of 1,550 students in Spartanburg, S.C. Wofford ranks 2nd nationally in the percentage of undergraduates receiving credit for study abroad.
