Sarah Mackenzie Traynor receives award during Honors Convocation at Wofford College

Wofford College student Sarah Mackenzie Traynor received the departmental award for international affairs and the Heart of a Terrier Award during Honors Convocation on May 9. The "Heart of a Terrier" leadership award recognize those students who have made a positive difference on campus and excelled in scholarship, leadership and campus citizenship and service. She is majoring in French and international affairs.

The academic major awards are made by the faculty to seniors recommended by the major departments on the basis of academic achievement, character and intellectual promise. Some of the awards are named in honor of persons who have made significant contributions to the intellectual life of the college.
