Travis Sabb Honored at Wofford College Greek Awards Program

Travis Sabb received the National Panhellenic Council Outstanding Greek Scholar Award during the Wofford College Greek Awards Program held on March 20, 2012. The NPHC Outstanding Greek Scholar Award is given to a member of NPHC who has exemplified merited leadership in their organization and has excelled academically. In addition to maintaining a high grade point average, Sabb has served as a Wofford accounting peer tutor, a counselor at the Jesse S. Bobo Elementary Afterschool Program, and a mentor for the Investing in Our Futures program at Spartanburg High School.

Sabb, a member of the class of 2013, is the son of Leroy and Venus McKnight of Columbia, SC 29209.

Wofford College, established in 1854, is an independent liberal arts college of 1,550 students in Spartanburg, S.C. Wofford ranks 2nd nationally in the percentage of undergraduates receiving credit for study abroad. Home to one of the nation's 280 Phi Beta Kappa chapters, Wofford's historic 170-acre campus is recognized as a national arboretum. Wofford is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
