William Edward Wolfe receives award during Honors Day ceremonies at Wofford College

Wofford College senior William Edward Wolfe was recognized on May 3 during Honors Day ceremonies when he received the the departmental award for government and the "Heart of a Terrier" Leadership award. Wolfe is majoring in chemistry and government with a concentration in world politics. The "Heart of a Terrier" Leadership Award recognizes those students who have made a positive difference on the campus and excelled in scholarship, leadership, and campus citizenship and service..

The academic major awards are made by the faculty to seniors recommended by the major departments on the basis of academic achievement, character and intellectual promise. Some of the awards are named in honor of persons who have made significant contributions to the intellectual life of the college.
