Wofford College cadet, John Cox, commissioned as Second Lieutenant

John William Cox, a cadet in Wofford College's ROTC program, was commissioned second lieutenant on May 15, 2015. As a newly appointed Army officer, Cox will go on to serve in a number of critical fields in the National Guard, Reserve, and active duty forces. Taking the oath of office is not only a great honor, but also is a symbol of their hard work and dedication that was applied towards this accomplishment. Cox will serve as an aviation officer. His first duty assignment will be Fort Rucker, Ala.

Cox, a member of the class of 2015, graduated in May with a bachelor of science degree in business economics, cum laude.
