Wofford student Brendan Jackson wins award at fifth Palmetto Chinese Star Contest

Brendan Jackson, a member of the class of 2017, won second place, along with Wofford student Helen Birdsong, in Language Proficiency at the Elementary Level competiton. He is from Columbia, S.C.

Six Wofford College students recently earned six awards in the Palmetto Chinese Star contest, a statewide (S.C.) competition that allows Chinese language students to demonstrate their language and culture proficiency.
