Wofford student Helen Birdsong wins award at fifth Palmetto Chinese Star Contest

Helen Birdsong, a member of the class of 2017, won second place, along with Wofford student Brendan Jackson, in Language Proficiency at the Elementary Level competition. She is from Columbia, S.C.

Six Wofford College students recently earned six awards in the Palmetto Chinese Star contest, a statewide (S.C.) competition that allows Chinese language students to demonstrate their language and culture proficiency.
